Workshop: Italian Sourdough Baking
€75,00
This workshop will focus on the art of Italian sourdough baking. You will learn how to prepare Neapolitan-style pizza, focaccia, Roman-style pinsa, maritozzi, herb crackers, and grissini.
Through a hands-on experience, you will get to explore traditional Italian baking techniques and the story behind Italy’s rich flavours.
YOU WILL TAKE HOME:
- A sample of our 23-year-old Sophia sourdough starter, which you can use in future baking, with all the instructions on how to maintain and use it.
- Your own-made pizza or focaccia dough to bake at home
- Your own shaped maritozzi for a “dolce-vita” breakfast the day after
- Freshly baked crackers
- A freshly baked focaccia
During the workshop, we will provide water, coffee, tea, and Italian snacks.
We will end the evening with a dinner party together, enjoying our freshly baked pizza.
No previous sourdough experience is needed.
